Park of Buzias with an area of 20 hectares, is a dendrological park with many rare species of trees, the most important being Platan. Architecture is the resort-style Turkish, Byzantine, unique in Romania. The only similar promenade in Europe are located in Karlovy Vary and in Baden-Baden. Due to favorable natural conditions, with rich sources of mineral water and a gentle climate, Buziaşului was recognized as a potential center spa. For the first time the mineral waters were used for treatment in 1811 by Romanian Gheorghe Ciocarlan resort. In 1816 began the first arrangement of springs and resort spas bases being built in 1819. In 1839 was declared resort whaler. Between 1903 - 1907 are drilled 12 deep wells and the construction of the factory bottling mineral water. In 1911 is declared official spa.
After the Union of Banat with Romania, he retain the status of the spa tratamnet cardio-vascular and residence of the net. It said the city in 1956. In the years'60 diversifying economic activity, are small, light and food industries. Increase both population and area of town. Neighborhoods are built by bocuri, villas and hotels on the resort.
