This room is located on the building of Hotel Timisoara and has a great view on the Metropolitan Cathedral of Timisoara Piata Victoriei. Piata Victoriei Square formerly Opera is the central city of Timisoara. Is where were gathered and where revolutionary Timişoara Timişoara was proclaimed on 20 December 1989 the first free town in Romania. At opposite poles of the market are at Opera North and the South Metropolitan Cathedral. Opera from the promenade to the Cathedral on your right is called "Corso" and left the "surrogate". Both ensembles have historic architectural importance. "Corso" is called promenade which starts from the Cathedral to the Opera, on the right side. In the past it was the ride of high Timisoara, good lighting, with restaurants and luxury shops. This room is offered by the Tourist Informator. |
