Gara de Nord is the largest railway station of Romania located in Bucharest. From this station leave and arrive nearly 200 daily trains (this number is higher in winter and summer when put into service to train additional season and Prahova Valley). It is served by trains of the railroad and the Romanian international.
Bucharest North is the end line and has a number of platforms eight and fourteen lines.
Railway station building mimics the architecture of the North Railway Station in Paris, France. The last restoration took place in 1997-1999.
Station is served by several routes of buses, trolley buses and trams and a subway station, located on the main M1 and M4.
