House Scânteii, originally conceived as complex Scânteii House, was built in 5 years (1952 to 1957) (between 1949 and 1954, project leader was Prof. dr. Emeritus Mazilu Panaite ing) [1] is intended publication of the press and in particular newspaper Scanteia, "organ" of the Central Committee of the Romanian Workers' Party. The antenna on this building has held for a while, since 1956, the Romanian television broadcaster.
