In 1868 management decided Aradului removal of two buildings representative for the city: the City Hall and the Theater. To build their need was the amount of 700,000 florins, which was made available to the administration by a Viennese bank. Closure arădean theater building began in 1872 and ended in 1874, the year took place and the first performances. Building in neoclassical style was built with three levels, with the main entrance boulevard and in the axis marked by columns supporting a pediment. Particular attention was paid to acoustics, the hall is designed with a wall of wood round the tree. Hall had three floors, the gallery and 92 loji. Downstairs, there were 276 seats and 150 seats for the state standing on floors I and II were only loji and III floor a balcony with 72 seats and gallery with 170 seats. In the room have a total capacity of 1250 seats. The scene had a depth of 16 m, the opening of 10 m and a height of 20 m. bridge decoration at the hall artists and craftsmen worked in Vienna, Budapest and Arad.
