Constanta is a city located in the south-eastern Romania, residence county of the same name and the largest city of the region of South-East development.

Constanta is located on the Black Sea coast. Around the city there is an urban area which is important in Constanta second urban area of the country after Bucharest.

The municipality is bordered by the cities and Ovidiu Navodari north, with common Agigea south (with these three localities are glued), town and village Murfatlar wave's Wall to the west, city and village Techirghiol Cumpana southwest and the Black Sea to the east. Constanta is divided into districts, the most famous being Mamaia and Tomis Nord, but they do not have any administrative autonomy, as the Bucharest borders can not be precisely defined, except in resort-residential parent has clearly defined borders.
